Auburn infielder Haley Fagan has been named the SEC Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement today. The senior is the first Auburn player to receive the weekly honor this season.
In four games last week, the shortstop hit .714 with runners in scoring position and .625 with runners on base. She was 10 of 14 and had three hits, including two doubles, against No. 12 LSU; batting .556 for the week.
Haley leads all Auburn hitters with a .400 batting average and has successfully reached base in the last takes a 23-games.
She will be leading the Tigers against Middle Tennessee Wednesday at 4 p.m. CT in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Congratulations to a deserving Tiger!
