If you’re familiar with Black Friday, you’re probably already scoping out your favourite shops and bookmarking your favourite online shops.
To add some ease to your Black Friday shopping, we have created an FAQ which is a collection of the most frequently asked questions from our clients in the past years. The hope is that after you read this FAQ, all your questions will be answered. After that, all that is left for you to do is to circle the date on your calendar and set your alarm so you can be sure to be the first to get the best deals.
Q: When does Black Friday begin?
A: Black Friday is on November 25th, but you can expect to find special deals as early as midnight on Tuesday, November 22nd at Altitude-sports.com. Black Friday will continue until Cyber Monday (November 28th) with additional promotions for the occasion.
Q: Are the discounts real discounts or do retailers and shops boost their MSRP so the prices look like unbelievable discounts?
A: The discounts are most certainly real and high. Our “regular” prices are established based on the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. They are the same year-round. It is only the Discount that varies. We also do not buy additional models of manufactured clothing and jackets only to sell at a discounted price. The products that we sell are part of the collections from the brands that we usually carry.
Q: What happens if I buy something and then the price drops a few days later?
A: At Altitude Sports, we have a price matching policy which covers a period of 15 days. If you purchase an item on Wednesday and by Friday the price has dropped or you have found the product for cheaper elsewhere, we’ll match the price and credit you for a future purchase. Q: What brands will be discounted?
A: During Black Friday, it is possible to find discounts on brands that are rarely discounted such as: Arc’teryx, Icebreaker, Fjällräven, SAXX Underwear and several others. In all, there are several hundred brands which will be discounted from Tuesday, November 22 to Monday, November 28. Certain brands may not be discounted at the beginning of the promotions but it is possible for them to become on sale later in the week. Subscribe to the newsletter to receive the updates throughout the week on new discounts and promotions. In general, the brands that are not discounted on Friday will remain full-price throughout the season.
Q: Are sales final?
A: Nope! Altitude Sports has a 60-day return policy. We encourage you to purchase multiple sizes if you are unsure of your size because availability will be limited once Black Friday is over. By doing this, you will increase your chances of finding the perfect fit you are looking for. The returns are super easy and free for Altitude Sports Lifetime members.
Q: What if the products I buy don’t fit?
A: Not to worry! As mentioned above, Altitude Sports has a 60-day return policy so simply follow the three steps. In order to return products, they must be in perfect conditions with the tags and any packaging ex: shoe boxes, clothing-hangers, etc. Refunds will be made within a maximum of 5 business days after the product has been received.
Q: How can I get the biggest discount possible?
A:1. Subscribe to our newsletter and be the first to know about our upcoming discounts.
2. Become an Altitude Sports Lifetime Member. For a limited time, you can receive an additional 5% discount on multiple brands on top of your regular 5% membership discount that all of our members receive. You can become a member by purchasing the membership here for $24.99. It’s a one time payment which will apply on your first purchase and every future purchase made at Altitude Sports. You can purchase the membership at the same as other products so you can immediately benefit from the membership discount.
3. Check the coupon and discount page for discount codes that may be applicable on the items you are wishing to purchase.
Q: Should I expect more time than usual to receive my order during the Black Friday sales because more people are shopping and ordering from Altitude Sports at the same time?
A: Not at all! At Altitude Sports, we are proud to ship as quickly during high traffic periods as we do during the rest of the year. This is actually what differs us from the competition.
Q: What other website does a killer Black Friday Sale?
A: The Last Hunt, which already offers the best prices in town on past season products from the best brands, will also offer additional discounts on their already discounted items. The more you buy, the more you save. For Thelasthunt.com, the sales are final and no price matches will be made. If you like the model and you like the discount, we suggest you buy it while it is still available. If you wait too long, there’s a risk that the item you want will no longer be available. Keep in mind that the sizes and colours are limited on this website because they are past season models.
