Team DK is a group of elite college baseball and softball players that are using Diamond Kinetics to energize their training this season. Featuring numerous All-Americans and All-Conference honorees, a College World Series Champion, and several players who will be picked in the 2023 MLB Draft, Team DK shows the ways players at the highest levels use DK to have fun and get better.
BASEBALL:
Jacob Gonzalez is a consensus Top 5 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. A member of the 2022 College World Series champion Ole Miss Rebels, Gonzalez has a career .315 batting average to go along with 30 home runs and 107 RBI. Gonzalez, the 2021 D1baseball.com National Freshman of the Year, was a member of the 2022 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. Sporting a huge TikTok following where he posts fun baseball content with his teammates, Jacob will use the DK SwingTracker bat sensor to improve his hitting metrics this season. Instagram
Carter Holton was an unanimous Freshman All-American for Vanderbilt University after going 8-4 with a 3.14 ERA and 97 strikeouts in 2022, both of which ranked in the top 10 in the SEC. Holton was a member of the 2022 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team and has posted about how he has used the DK PitchTracker smart baseball to improve his pitching metrics this season. Instagram
Gavin Turley goes into the 2023 season as one of the most exciting freshmen in the country. A 19th round selection in the 2022 MLB Draft, Turley decided to go to college and play at Oregon State University where he homered in his first college game. A fan favorite already, Turley has used the DK SwingTracker going back to his days as a Perfect Game All-American. No stranger to helmet hugs, Brock Wilken is already one of the greatest sluggers in the history of Wake Forest University. After tying the Wake Forest freshman home run record with 17 in 2021, Wilken followed up his historic season by hitting 23 home runs in 2022. Wilken, an infectious personality, is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft and has used the DK SwingTracker to add fun to his BP routine. Instagram
Hitting bombs at the plate and throwing gas on the mound, Braden Montgomery enters the 2023 season as one of the top two-way players in the country. Playing for Stanford University, Montgomery was the 2022 PAC 12 Freshman of the Year, hitting .299 with 18 home runs and 57 RBI at the plate while also tallying 28 strikeouts on the mound. Nolan McLean does it all. Nolan earned 2nd Team All-American and 1st Team All-Big 12 Honors for the Oklahoma State Cowboys last season. One of the nation’s top two-way players, McLean hit .285 with 19 home runs while also starring on the mound, racking up 39 strikeouts in just 25.1 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .206 batting average. Jackson Nicklaus had an outstanding freshman season for the University of Oklahoma in 2022, hitting .288 with 11 home runs and 34 RBI. Drew Brutcher was a Freshman All-American in 2021 for the University of South Florida and followed it up with another great season in 2022, hitting .299 and tallying 13 home runs despite missing a month due to injury. Will Sanders is the ace of the University of South Carolina’s pitching staff. Considered a Top 7 Draft Prospect by Baseball America and D1baseball.com, Sanders pitched to a 7-3 record with a 3.43 ERA in 2022. SOFTBALL:
Montana Fouts has earned her reputation as one of the best pitchers in the country. Fouts is a star on the field where she has received countless accolades in her career including 2021 NFCA Pitcher of the Year, 3-Time NFCA All-American, and 2021 SEC Co-Pitcher of the year, but she is also a role model off the field where she loves working with young softball players at her skill camps over the summer. With big power at the plate and a big personality on TikTok, Bri Ellis had an historic freshman season for the Auburn Tigers, crushing 20 home runs to shatter the school’s freshman home run record on her way to being named the SEC Freshman of the Year and All-SEC Second Team. Ellis is swinging with DK this offseason to build on her phenomenal freshman season. Instagram
Danielle Williams had an all-time great season in the circle for Northwestern University in 2022. Williams earned the BIG 10 Pitching Triple Crown, leading the conference in wins (25), ERA (1.49), and strikeouts (270), earning BIG 10 Pitcher of the Year and NFCA 1st-Team All-American honors. Danielle has been posting fun content on Instagram and TikTok, giving fans a peek behind the scenes as she has uses the DK PitchTracker this season. Instagram
Kiki Milloy was outstanding in 2022 for the Tennessee Volunteers, being named a 2nd-Team All-American by Softball America and 2nd-Team All-SEC. Milloy hit .362 with 15 home runs and 53 RBI last season. Devyn Flaherty was a key piece of the Florida State University offense in 2022, collecting 66 hits, including 6 home runs, on her way to a .355 batting average and being named to the ACC All-Tournament Team.
