Enyinba has lost the first leg of its Caf Champions League opening match against Vipers SC of Uganda. On Friday afternoon the match was played at the Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium. Kampala (UGA) with Erisa Sekisambu scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute. The People’s Elephant welcomed Vipers in the return leg which they must win by more than one goal (if away goals are avoided) to succeed for the first round of the competition.

In the meantime on Sunday Warri Wolves will host Club Praia of Principe and Sao Tome in Warri in the other CAF Champions League draw involving Nigerian teams.
