Sarkodie reveals about why he didn’t rap himself on ‘Trumphet’

Ghanaian well-known rapper, Sarkodie has finally talked about his smash hit track ‘Trumphet’. He also revealed the reasons behind why he didn’t rap himself on trumpet. Moreover, Sarkodie also revealed why he didn’t feature Kofi Kinaata in the song.

Sarkodie was exclusively interviewed, where while speaking to the host, he revealed that all he wanted to do was to stare all those rising Ghanaian stars who needs a quick start and a former introduction to the world. For the Kofi Kinaata, he said that he will work together with Kofi Kinaata on an alternate song just that they are planning for the right record.

Sarkodie said, ‘I and Kofi Kinaata are all set collaborate on a new smash hit single. Really, his supervisor and I talked and the only issue is the right time. So yes, with the accurate time and a great record, positively the fans ought to expect something from us soon, the fans ought to simply keep their fingers crossed’.

When the host asked him that why he didn’t rap on the song, he said, ‘I didn’t rap since I thought the song will be too long. Indeed, even without me rapping, it’s over 8 minutes and the other reason is that I just wanted people to think about the colossal gifts we have here in Ghana.
