Michael Owen has taken to social media to reveal his excitement at seeing Jose Mourinho appointed as Manchester United manager.
The Portuguese coach was confirmed as Louis van Gaal’s successor at Old Trafford on Friday as he signed a three-year contract with the Red Devils.
Mourinho had been strongly linked with the Old Trafford job ever since his sacking by Chelsea back in December.

Now, the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss is set to take over at United ahead of what promises to be an enthralling season in the Premier League.
And former England striker Owen is clearly excited by Mourinho’s arrival at the club.

United opted to sack Van Gaal on Monday afternoon after his side finished fifth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup.
