Chelsea FC make decision about Kurt Zouma’s future – report

Kurt Zouma is among the Chelsea FC players that the Blues will keep this summer if their transfer ban is upheld, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Telegraph, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the west London club are preparing to hold on to the French defender following his return from his two-season loan spell at Everton.

According to the same story. the Toffees would dearly love to sign Zouma on a permanent deal this Summer, but the Blues look set to hold on to the centre-half.

Chelsea FC are currently appealing the two-window Transfer Ban given to them by Fifa, but it remains to be seen whether they will be able to sign players this summer or not.

Gary Cahill is to leave Chelsea FC this summer, and that could present Zouma the chance to step in to the first team at Stamford Bridge for next season.

The 24-year-old impressed during his spell at Everton and he scored two goals and made two assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season.

According to the same story, players such as Michay Batshuayi, Reece James, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount could all be considered for places in the first team for next season if Chelsea FC’s transfer ban is upheld.
