Paul Pogba ‘very keen’ to leave Man United for Real Madrid – report

Paul Pogba is “very keen” to leave Manchester United and sign for Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Independent is reporting that the 26-year-old midfielder is looking to engineer a move away from Old Trafford to join the Spanish club this summer.

The same story says that Pogba’s apparent desire to leave Old Trafford stems from the fact that he cannot see Manchester United challenging for the Premier League title any time soon.

According to the same report, Pogba “does not want to spend his prime years waiting” for Manchester United to be able to challenge for major trophies.

The same article says that although Manchester United are publicly insisting that Pogba is not for sale this summer, they would privately consider selling him for a fee of around £130m.

It is claimed in the same story that Pogba is “high up” on Real Madrid’s list of transfer priorities this summer as they look to try and bolster their squad ahead of next season.

According to the same report, Zinedine Zidane is a “huge fan” of the Manchester United midfielder.

Meanwhile, Pogba will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when they take on Huddersfield Town away from home on Sunday afternoon.
