Rio Ferdinand predicts where Man United will finish this season

Rio Ferdinand believes that Manchester United have what it takes to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.

The Red Devils dropped their first points under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Tuesday night when they came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Burnley in the top flight at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table and just two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal as the Red Devils look to try and secure Champions League qualification for next season.

The 20-time English champions will aim to get back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon when they travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City.

Manchester United legend Ferdinand took part in a Twitter question and answer session with his followers on Wednesday afternoon.

And when asked by one supporter if he thinks Manchester United will qualify for next season’s Champions League, he replied: “Yes… believe! #AskRio.”

Ferdinand was also asked by another fan who he would sign for Manchester United if he could land any player, and he replied: “I’m going @VirgilvDijk.. the position we’re in most need! #AskRio.”

Manchester United have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
