Cesar Azpilicueta has taken to social media to thank Chelsea FC fans for their support after the Blues claimed a 2-1 win at Newcastle United on Sunday.

Azpilicueta made his 200th Premier League appearance for the Blues as the west London side claimed all three points at St James’ Park to continue their 100 per cent start to the season.

Chelsea FC are now in third place in the Premier League table and level on points with early pace-setters Liverpool FC as they look to try and mount a title challenge under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Azpilicueta has been one of Chelsea FC’s most consistent performers in recent seasons and he has established himself as one of the mainstays in the Blues squad.

And Azpilicueta used his personal Instagram account to pay tribute to the Blues supporters after Chelsea FC’s victory over Newcastle United this weekend.

Azpilicueta posted the picture above on the social network and wrote the caption: “Happy to celebrate my 200th Premier League Appearance with a win!

“Great ambition and hunger from the team until the end! Special mention to all the travelling fans in a long rainy journey! #KTBFFH ”

Chelsea FC will look to make it four wins in a row in the Premier League when they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The west London side ended up in fifth place in the Premier League and won the FA Cup last season under Antonio Conte.
