New Chelsea FC manager worried 27-year-old will quit Stamford Bridge – report

Maurizio Sarri is concerned that N’Golo Kante will quit Chelsea FC this summer, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mail, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the new Chelsea FC boss is very worried that he will lose the World Cup winner in the summer transfer window.

The same article states that La Liga champions FC Barcelona have already earmarked Kante as a potential candidate to improve their options in the middle of the park ahead of the defence of their crown.

According to the same story, FC Barcelona want Kante to help the Catalan side fill Andres Iniesta’s void in midfield following his impressive performances at the World Cup in Russia.

Sarri took over the reins at Chelsea FC last week after Antonio Conte a finally dismissed following two relatively successful seasons in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Kante won the Premier League title in 2015-16 with Leicester City before he completed a £30m move to the west London side following Conte’s appointment at Chelsea FC.

The France star helped the Blues to win the Premier League crown with seven points to spare and Kante was named the PFA player of the year for his performances.
