Pat Nevin predicts where Liverpool FC will finish this season

Pat Nevin believes Liverpool FC are “90 per cent” assured of a top-four finish this season.

The Reds are looking to finish in the Champions League qualification spots in successive campaigns under Jurgen Klopp.

The Merseyside outfit ended up in fourth place in the Premier League Table last term in their first full season under the German head coach.

Liverpool FC were 3-0 winners against Bournemouth last weekend to cement their place in the Premier League’s top four.

The Reds are in the Champions League semi-finals following a 5-1 aggregate win against Premier League champions Manchester City in the last eight.

The 18-time English champions will have to get past AS Roma in the last four to reach their first Champions League final since 2007.

Liverpool FC will take on 20th-placed West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Former Chelsea FC winger Nevin Believes Liverpool FC are almost over the line in the top-four race.

“Liverpool got the tie they wanted,” Nevin told Irish radio station Newstalk. “They’re fairly safe in the top four. They’re 90 per cent safe.”

Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in fourth.

The Reds could still overhaul Manchester United and finish as runners up for the first time since 2014.
