Virgil van Dijk looked to be in good shape as he trained with his Liverpool FC team-mates at Melwood ahead of the Reds’ FA Cup clash with West Brom on Saturday.

The Netherlands defender will be hoping to be Liverpool FC’s cup hero once again after he marked his debut for the Reds by scoring the winner in the 2-1 victory over Everton in the third round earlier this month.

Van Dijk has been settling in well to life at Anfield following his move to the Merseyside club from Southampton at the turn of the year.

However, he was unable to prevent the Reds from slipping to a disappointing defeat by Swansea City in the Premier League last Monday to dent their top-four hopes.

Liverpool FC will be aiming to put on a show and book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with victory over the Baggies on Saturday night.

Also pictured in the night-time training session at Melwood were the likes of Mohamed Salah and Emre Can.
