Mark Lawrenson is backing Liverpool FC to ease to a 2-0 win against West Brom at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds squandered a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Sunday after Wayne Rooney’s controversial penalty cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s brilliant opener.
Liverpool FC missed out on the chance to hoist themselves above Chelsea and into third place after Dejan Lovren’s challenge on Dominic Calvert-Lewin led to Rooney’s leveller.
The 18-time English champions are still unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games to build some momentum over the past two months or so following a tough spell in September and October.
Liverpool FC will have the chance to bounce back with three points against Alan Pardew’s West Brom side at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Former Reds defender Lawrenson is backing Klopp’s men to ease to a comfortable win against West Brom at Old Trafford.
“It goes without saying that losing to Swansea is a poor result for anyone at the moment, and that was a setback for new West Brom boss Alan Pardew in his second game in charge,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“He needs to get his first win soon, but I don’t see the Baggies getting it at Anfield, especially because I imagine that the players Klopp rested on Sunday will start this game.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League.
Klopp signed four players in the summer transfer window ahead of their return to Europe’s premier club competition.
The Merseyside outfit lost to Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur this term.
