Robbie Savage hailed Pedro’s classy goal in Chelsea’s 3-1 win at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.
The former Barcelona winger started on the bench at the London Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Antonio Conte turned to Pedro in the second half following Marko Arnautovic’s sixth-minute goal in the London derby.
The Chelsea boss opted to start the three-time Champions League winner for Tuesday night’s trip to promoted side Huddersfield Town.
And Pedro repaid the manager’s faith with a clinical finish to secure Chelsea’s 3-0 win at John Smith’s Stadium.
The Chelsea forward collected a pass from Willian before he curled a finish past Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl.
Former Manchester United midfielder Savage heaped praise on Pedro for his stylish finish on Tuesday night.
“Alonso had so much time to pick the cross out. Pedro curled it into the far corner,” Savage told BT Sport.
“It is a composed finish. He opens his body up. It’s a great finish.”
Pedro has scored two goals and has made two assists in the 2017-18 Premier League season so far.
The 30-year-old has found his first-team opportunities limited following eight starts and six substitute appearances.
Chelsea signed Pedro in a £21m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in the 2015 summer transfer window following their title success.
The Blues are 11 points behind current leaders Manchester City after losing to the Citizens, Burnley, Crystal Palace and West Ham this term.
