Eden Hazard singled out Marcos Alonso, Davide Zappacosta and Cesc Fabregas for special praise after their sparkling displays for Chelsea in the 4-0 win at West Brom on Saturday.

Hazard was named as the man of the match as he scored twice to help fire Antonio Conte’s men to a solid Premier League victory at The Hawthorns.

Fabregas was in sublime form on Saturday as he notched up two assists during his 67-minute run-out against the Baggies.

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata also continued his fine start to the new season when he netted the opener with his eight goal of the Premier League campaign.

However, Hazard chose to single out three other players for their solid performances for the west London side in Saturday’s thumping victory over the Baggies.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website after the game, Hazard said: “It’s not just him [Morata] and me, it’s the whole team.

“When you play with Fabregas, Alonso on the left and Zappacosta on the right you can feel the confidence.

“Everyone played with the ball and made great movement.”

Chelsea’s win lifted them up into third place in the Premier League table and left them nine points behind leaders Manchester City after 12 games of the new campaign.

The Blues, who won the title in style under Conte last term, return to Premier League action next weekend with a crunch clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
