Alvaro Morata looks like he is settling into life at Chelsea well following his transfer from Real Madrid last month.

The 24-year-old striker became Chelsea’s fourth signing of the summer when he penned a five-year contract with the Blues last month following months of speculation about his future.

Morata made his first competitive appearance for Chelsea when he came on as a second half substitute during the Blues’ loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The Spain international missed his penalty in the shootout as the Gunners claimed victory over the Blues to clinch the first trophy on offer this season.

Chelsea fans will be excited about the prospect of Morata lining up with Eden Hazard in a Blues shirt next season.

And the pair seem to be getting on well as the west London club continue their preparations for the new Premier League campaign.

Chelsea shared the picture of the duo at Cobham on the club’s official Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Photo shoot day at Cobham! @hazardeden_10 @alvaromorata #CFC #Chelsea”

Hazard is currently recovering from ankle surgery after suffering a broken bone while on international duty with Belgium at the start of the summer.

Chelsea take on Burnley in their Premier League opener at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
