Arsenal have made an offer to sign James Rodriguez but the Colombia international is holding out for a move to Manchester United, according to reports.
Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Arsenal are interested in signing the Real Madrid playmaker in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The Gunners are looking to bolster their squad after the north London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term.
However, the same article states that Rodriguez is holding out for a move to Manchester United this summer.
The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impression at The Bernabeu since his big-money move to Real Madrid from AS Monaco in the 2014 summer transfer window.
Arsenal won the FA Cup final at Wembley last month thanks to a 2-1 win against Premier League champions Chelsea.
