Paul Merson is backing Liverpool to bolster their top-four bid with a 3-0 win at Watford on Monday night.
The Reds suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace side at Anfield last weekend to undermine their attempts to secure a return to the Champions League.
Liverpool are in third place in the Premier League Table but Jurgen Klopp’s side have played more games than their closest rivals Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Speaking to Sky Sports about Liverpool’s clash against Watford at Vicarage Road, former Arsenal midfielder Merson said:
“When Liverpool play the likes of Man City away, I fancy them to get a draw or even more. But when they face teams like Watford, I’m not so sure.
“That’s been the problem with them this season. They are playing Watford and I’m having to think about it.
“Having said that, the Hornets are on their holidays. Hull had 10 men and beat them 2-0. If that doesn’t say it all, nothing will.”
