N’Golo Kante has taken to Instagram to post a defiant message ahead of Chelsea’s title run-in.

The France international has been one of the Premier League’s standout players in the 2016-17 season following his big-money move to Chelsea from Leicester City last summer.

Kante has established himself as a key player under new manager Antonio Conte thanks to his dominant performances in a defensive-midfield role.

The Chelsea midfielder has even scored two goals against Manchester United in the FA Cup and the Premier League in the 2016-17 campaign.

There were suggestions that Kante was feeling the effects of back-to-back title challenges in the English top flight after he struggled in France’s 2-0 loss to Spain on Tuesday night.

Worryingly for Chelsea’s title rivals, Kante has been sent some new Adidas boots which the midfielder is confident can help him end the season on a positive note.

Kante posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“New boots Old me. Ready for the end of season. Prêt pour la fin de saison avec mes nouvelles #X16 #NeverFollow”
