Willian has sent a passionate message to the Chelsea fans to celebrate the club’s 112th birthday ahead of Monday night’s clash against Manchester United.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk forward has found his first-team opportunities limited under Antonio Conte after the Italian replaced Guus Hiddink at the end of the 2015-16 season.
Willian was one of Chelsea’s best players in an otherwise disappointing defence of their top-flight crown but that hasn’t prevented Pedro Rodriguez from moving ahead of the Brazilian in the pecking order.
The World Cup winner teed up Eden Hazard for Chelsea’s opener in a 2-1 win at West Ham on Monday night, meaning Willian has had to make do with appearances in the FA Cup.
However, the Brazilian is facing a battle to retain his cup place for the visit of Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-final on Monday night.
His lack of first-team football hasn’t diluted Willian’s affection for the west London side – though.
Willian posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption: “It’s a great honor and a great privilege to defend the Blue shirt, with such a rich history and such wonderful fans. Congratulations on your 112th birthday, Chelsea! ⚽️”
