Ian Wright has backed Tottenham Hotspur to beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Lilywhites will make the long trip to Manchester in search of seventh successive Premier League win.

Tottenham are the Premier League’s form team after an outstanding 4-0 win against West Bromwich Albion courtesy of Harry Kane’s hat-trick.

Manchester City, on the other hand, suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs will start the weekend in second place and three points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s men.

Speaking to The Sun Goals podcast, former Arsenal striker Wright backed the Lilywhites to secure maximum points against Manchester City on Saturday evening.

“I think Spurs are the form team right now,” Wright said.

“I’m going Tottenham win to be honest. I saw them demolition a team last week. Manchester City are showing me nothing.”

Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table last season after challenging champions Leicester City for the title for most of the campaign.
