Adam Scott will take home over $1.4 million of an $8 million purse after winning Australia's first green jacket at the Masters on Sunday. Check out how the rest of the money breaks down.

Adam Scott won the 2013 Masters at Augusta on Sunday, beating Angel Cabrera in a sudden-death playoff. Scott will be handsomely rewarded for the winning effort, taking home $1.44 million out of an $8 million purse to go along with his brand new green jacket.

Scott and Cabrera finished in a tie at 9-under after 72 holes. The Masters' second-straight foray into a playoff lasted just two holes, however. Scott made birdie on No. 10 to become the first Australian to win the Masters. Cabrera finished in second place, but at least he'll take home a cool $864,000.

Jason Day earned $544,000 for finishing third, and Tiger Woods and Marc Leishman split the combined money that would have gone to the individual fourth and fifth place finishers after tying for fourth.
