The 49ers have traded TE Asante Cleveland to the New England Patriots for offensive lineman Jordan Devey.

Devey entered the NFL as an UDFA back in 2013. Devey is listed as a tackle, but he started four games as a guard.

The 49ers had ample bodies at the tight end position and needed some more on the offensive line with the depatures of Iupati and Anthony Davis.
