The 49ers have officially exercised the fifth-year option for right tackle Mike Mcglinchey.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as general manager John Lynch mentioned during this weeks media press conference that they would exercise the option. The option is projected at $10.9 million for the 2021 season.

McGlinchey was the 49ers 9th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
