The wait is over 49ers fans, the 2018 schedule has made it’s way to the internet.
After having just one prime time game last season, a Thursday night affair against the Los Angeles Rams, the team will play five nationally televised games this season.
What makes these games even more notable is that four them will take place within a five-week period.
Oct 15 @ Green Bay
Oct 21 vs Los Angeles Rams
Nov 1 vs Oakland
Nov 12 vs New York Giants
This will the most prime-time games the 49ers have played since 2014, the year after they came within a pass of going to their second straight Super Bowl.
The game against the Green Bay Packers is one that will pit QB Aaron Rodgers against Garoppolo and should be an intriguing contest. Garoppolo has been compared most to Rodgers as his career trajectory has ascended since being traded to the 49ers last October.
Here is the 49ers 2018 schedule in its entirety.
