The 49ers have added pro bowl, rival cornerback Richard Sherman to their roster. Released on Friday he had dinner with head coach Kyle Shanahan and his wife, then spent the day at the 49ers facility on Saturday.

And now it’s done: 49ers and CB Richard Sherman reached agreement tonight on a three-year deal, source tells ESPN.
Sherman is a 49er.

The deal is 3 years worth 39 million with a 5 million signing bonus.
Reports were that he was going to meet with the Lions later on in the week, but the 49ers did not let it get to that.
Sherman will start opposite Ahkello Witherspoon and he reunites with defensive coordinator Robert Salah, who he played for in Seattle for three years.
