One Bad Tweet: KIA's Primary Point Guard and Gilas Member LA Revilla Traded to Phoenix

LA Revilla will now play for the Phoenix Fuel Masters

Averaging close to 10 points per game in his career, the former LaSalle Green Archer and native of Bacolod was the only original member of the KIA squad left until that dreaded Tweet which he posted about his mother team's decision to trade their first pick (Christian Standhardinger) with three SMB benchwarmers.

Obviously, Kia was a bit sensitive to the issue and as soon as they found out about it, LA Revilla was immediately asked not to go to team practice and was placed on a trading block.

Fast forward today, Kia was successful in trading away LA Revilla and they received rookie Jayson Grimaldo. Not exactly a good trade for Kia but this time will let this go because a trade for a disgruntled player is always a win anyway. Who wouldn't a player that doesn't want to play with a team?

LA Revilla at 27 will be playing with his 3rd franchise, first was with Global Port, then Kia and now with Phoenix.

Revilla and the Kia Management has talked since the tweet and while everyone seems to be okay now, there is just no getting the damage back and parting ways just might be the best solution for the two camps.
