Nerlens Noel reportedly signs 1 year, $4.1 Million contract with Dallas Mavericks


Noel was traded last On February 23, 2017 to the Dallas Mavericks from Philadelpia 76ers in exchange for Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut and a 2017 protected first-round pick. He made his debut for the Mavericks two days later, recording nine points and 10 rebounds off the bench in a 96–83 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. On March 3, 2017, in his first start for the Mavericks, Noel tied a career high with 17 rebounds while scoring 15 points in a 104–100 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Noel played 22 games with the Mavericks and averaged 8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks  while shooting 57.5 percent from the field. Noel was starter on 12 of 22 games with Mavs.
