Calvin Abueva have not had any good game since the ugly incident over the very first game of the Gilas Pilipinas against China. During the game, the Alaska star player lost his cool and retaliated with a headbutt from a push he received from a big guy from China that put down the Chinese for a long minute after which led Abueva to be kicked out of the game for good.

Calvin haven't had much luck since then and his playing time was drastically reduced. Against Qatar, Calvin played 12 minutes and scored 2 points in 0/4 shooting from the field but that ain't the scary part. The already incomplete Gilas Pilipinas played without two of their biggest players in JunMar Fajardo and Christian Standhardinger against Qatar, so guys like Calvin Abueva needs to step up. Unfortunately though, and aside from already having a rough game, he also slipped and injured his foot. 

Calvin was carried out from the court by his teammates and although he was seen lacing up his shoe, he was never called back in to play again.
