LAGUNA RUN 2017 “A Run for Climate Change Awareness and Mitigation”


Fun Run activity on May 7, 2017, Sunday at Nuvali Sta Rosa Laguna. This one day activity captioned as LAGUNA RUN 2017 “A Run for Climate Change Awareness and Mitigation”, is a running event that aims to raise environmental awareness/literacy in chosen public schools and help mitigate climate change by encouraging participants to plant indigenous fruit bearing trees in their community. This event further inspires unity, friendship, fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, this will highlight advocacy on saving mother earth and mitigate climate change through local actions and enhancing our environment.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

a) Participants below 18 yrs old must have their entry form signed by parent or guardian.
c) Race entry is non-refundable.
d) Once registration is submitted, no changes on participant's information can be made.
e) Registration may end earlier than the announced deadline.
f) Singlets will be given to the first 3,000 registrants. There will be no guaranteed size on singlets.


RACE PROPER

1) Participants are not obliged to complete course by a specific time. The race course will be open as long as there are still registered runners on the route.
2) Race bibs must be worn at all times during the race. Bib numbers should be pinned in front of running shirt.
3) All protests related to the results must be made in writing & submitted to the race organizer within 30 minutes after the official announcement of winners. P3,000.00 protest fee will be charged.
4) The organizer's decision is final.

WATER AND FIRST AID STATION

Drinking water will be provided at the finish line and at every 1 km along the race course. Medical aid will be available along the race course and at the finish line. We strongly recommended all participants to bring their own water or energy drink during the race.

PARKING AREA

All participants & other spectators are required to park their vehicles at all allocated parking

TOILET AREA

Toilet cubicles will be available at the site during the race.

BAGGAGEAREA

Baggage deposit service is available near the stage from 4:30am to 9:00am
