Barcelona 4-0 Deportiva La Coruña

Barcelona returned to winning ways when they won convincingly against Deportivo last night in La Liga. 2 goals from Rafinha at the 21st and 36th Minute, a goal from Luis Suarez at the 43rd minute and a 58th minute goal from Lionel Messi sees Barcelona comfotably past by Deportivo. The match will also be credited for an another historic night for Lionel Messi, Messi's goal means that he is now the all time goal scorer at home in La Liga history passing which was previously owned by Athletic Bilbao legend Telmo Zarra. Their win puts them still within in touch of the Madrid teams in 4th position. 

Real Betis 1-6 Real Madrid

After being held to a draw in all of their previous 3 matches. Real Madrid returned to winning ways in the most dominating fashion when they put 6 goals past Real Betis in their league match. Raphael Varane opened the goal fest in the 4th minute after an assist from Toni Kroos. Karim Benzema Scored in the 31st minute which was again assisted by Toni Kroos. Marcelo followed up in the 39th minute. Isco scored 1st of his 2 goals in the 45th minute. Real Betis were given a tiny hope when Alvaro Cejudo scored in the 55th minute, but it proved to be just a consolation as Isco scored his second goal in the 62nd minute. Cristiano Ronaldo ended the Los Blancos goal fest when he scored a goal in the 78th minute. Real's win means that they stay in touch in Atletico in 2nd place with only goal difference behind.

Atletico Madrid 7-1 Granada

Atletico Madrid did 1 better on their city rivals Real Madrid as they come back from behind to score pass 7 goals against bottom of the table team Granada to go on top of the league but leading only on goal difference on their city rivals. Atletico find themselves behind on the 18th minute thanks to a goal from Isaac Cuenca, but just 16 minutes later on the 34th minute Yannick Carrasco scored his 1st goal of the game. Atletico found themselves finally ahead on the match after Carrasco scored his second in the 45th. Carrasco completed his Hat-Trick in the 61st minute. Nicolas Gaitan scored his 1st of 2 goals just 2 minutes later. Gaitan scored once again for Atletico in the 81st minute. Angel Correa joined the goal fest in the 85th minute. Tiago scored the final goal of the game in the 87th minute to make it 7-1 for the home team.

Leganes 2-3 Sevilla

If there is a team that is flying under the radar this season it's Sevilla as they beat Leganes 3-2 to stay in the 3rd position of the league table just 1 point behind the Madrid clubs. Franco Vasquez scored the opener for Sevilla in the 25th minute, Former Arsenal and Manchester City player Samir Nasri doubled Sevilla lead in the 58th minute. However in the span of two minutes Leganes made it back to 2-2 thanks to goals from Timor in the 67th minute and Alexander Szymanowski in the 69th minute. But in the 85th minute Pablo Sarabia scored the winning goal for Sevilla.
