Combine Slammer Seat With Triumph Modern Classics

For all of the Motorcycle fanatics around the globe, customisation has really been an important subject. However, most of the motorcyclists choose style over comfort making it difficult for them to ride their vehicle, which is not the right thing to do. No matter what happens, you have to ensure that you are not discomforted while travelling.

Recently, a company from South California, known as British Customs, came up with a wonderful idea to make your riding experience as comfortable as you could imagine. The idea was to develop a custom saddle for motorbikes called, the ‘Slammer Seat.’ However, this has only been designed for three models launched by Triumph, namely Bonneville, Thruxton and America.

Triumph Motorcycles Limited has got a rich history. The company took over from the legendary brand Triumph Engineering during the 1980s and has been developing some great machines since then in order to keep the historical name alive in motorbike industry.

The origin of the legendary motorcycle brand goes back to the late nineteenth century. At that time, the vehicles were not really powerful and did not look like they are today. However, Triumph continued to grow with the passage of time through experimentation and clever decision making. The company benefitted a lot during the World War 1, as it built war motorbikes that became extremely popular.

With the passage of time, the British manufacturers continued to innovate and bring new ideas for their customers. There were quite a few ups and downs for them and eventually their operation had to be closed in the 1980s. Luckily, an industrialist named John Bloor became interested in keeping Triumph alive and the brand continues to make history even today and for sure RiderWear Motorcycle Accessories is always here to get you guys the latest and fresh released about brands.

Since it is the largest surviving British motorcycle manufacturing organisation, British Customs decided to develop custom seats for it that not only make riding easy for the motorcyclist, but also allow the classic models to be more appealing to the general public by exposing the body more.

The Slammer Seat is slimmer and takes off 0.5-inch to 0.75 inch off the original seat, allowing the sides to become more visible. Above that, the seat is 0.5 inch short, which makes the rear fender easily viewable.

In order to get rid of the bulky seat, some extra padding was removed. This raised some comfort concerns for the riders though, yet British Customs were fully aware of that and had already thought of a clever solution. They replaced the padding by a medical gel, which offers a lot of comfort to the person who sits on the seat.

The Slammer Seat presents a leather look, but is actually covered by black or brown vinyl that is weather and wear resistant. There is no need for further customisation if you have ordered this unique saddle for any of your Triumph models named above. It can be bought at a very reasonable price of under $400, which is quite astonishing, so buy one and enjoy a comfortable ride!
