Big Changes At Roma This Summer

It is all change at Roma as they prepare for a busy period in the transfer market which could see midfielders Leandro Paredes and William Vainqueur make way for new signings.

Leicester City have offered €22 million for Paredes, who is also being monitored by AC Milan, Zenit St.Petersburg and Schalke.

Vanqueur was a bit-part player for the Giallorossi last season and will likely also need to be offloaded if Roma wish to secure a deal for their midfield targets.

Highly-rated Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara remains firmly on their radar, whilst the Lupi are also ready to fight it out with Napoli for Gent captain Sven Kums.

Furthermore, Corriere dello Sport also report that if they qualify for the Champions League then they will consider a move for Fiorentina playmaker Borja Valero and Anderlecht starlet Youri Tielemans, although FC Twente attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech is their preferred target.

Regardless, Roma will have to let go of some players in order to make room for any new signings, and it appears that Juan Iturbe, Umar Sadiq and Federico Ricci have all also been told that they are surplus to requirements.

Luciano Spalletti meanwhile is looking to bring in some cover at right-back, but with Alvaro Arbeloa nearing a move to Espanyol they will be forced to spend.

Torino‘s Bruno Peres is a very feasible option, as is Inter‘s Danilo D’Ambrosio, who could arrive on loan with an option to buy.
