The 2023-24 Bundesliga season is set to be another exciting one, with Bayern Munich the favorites to challenge for the title. Bayern will be looking to make it 12 consecutive titles, and they have strengthened their squad with the signings of Sadio Mane and Kim Min-jae.

Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to challenge Bayern for the title, after they finished second last season. They have a new coach in Edin Terzic, and they have made some good signings, including Sebastien Haller and Karim Adeyemi.

German football writer Constantin Eckner Believes that Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga this season. He said:

“Bayern Munich are once again the clear favourites to win the championship. They managed to sell expendable players, most notably Sadio Mane, while also adding intriguing new pieces to their squad like Korea defender Kim Min-jae. If they also sign Harry Kane, then they will become almost unbeatable.”

Who will win the golden boot?
Eckner believes that Sebastien Haller is the favorite to win the Bundesliga Golden Boot this season. He said:

“If Kane joins the Bundesliga he will become the best striker of the league. If the transfer falls through, then Dortmund’s Sebastien Haller will be the favourite for the top scorer crown.”

Who will be the surprise team this season?
Eckner believes that Stuttgart could be the surprise package of the season. He said:

“Stuttgart only escaped relegation by beating Hamburg in the play-offs, but the south Germans have assembled a squad with a lot of potential. Plus, Sebastian Hoeness, who joined Stuttgart late last season to save the team from relegation, should be able to integrate some of his tactical ideas. Stuttgart will surprise many observers this year.”

Who is the one player we should be watching?
Eckner believes that Xavi Simons is one to watch this season. He said:

“Xavi Simons has joined RB Leipzig on loan from Paris Saint-Germain and will be tasked with replacing Dominik Szoboszlai. The 20-year-old Dutchman is one of the most intriguing attacking midfielders in Europe and should thrive in Leipzig’s high-energy team.”
