According to Mediaset Premium, Inter have deiced that Federico Bernardeschi should be their number one target this summer. Ahead of Domenico Berardi, who is reportedly close to moving to Roma

While the Nerazzurri have decided to go all-in for 23-year-old Italy international, they are finding that buying Italian is not cheap, as Fiorentina have placed a €50 million price tag on Bernardeschi.

That is a big price tag for a player who is out of contract in year and has rejected any idea of a contract renewal.

Sportitalia claim that Bernardeschi would prefer to join Juventus, but if the Viola refuse to even consider a sale to their bitter rivals, then he’d accept Inter.

It looks very much that Inter are going to sell Perisic to Manchester United for around €50m and turn around and hand that fee to Fiorentina for Bernardeschi.

What the Nerazzurri are in essence doing is selling a 28-year-old and replacing him with a 23-year-old Italian. The stats last season for both players were almost identical. But under this deal Inter get a younger version of Perisic with more upside.
