Banega’s Agent Confirms Player Is Going Nowhere In January

Before Suning splashed the cash at the end of the transfer window, Inter’s biggest signing last summer had been Ever Banega.

Banega joined Inter from Sevilla on a Bosman free transfer, but the Argentinian has struggled to adapt to life in Serie A and the former Sevilla star has being linked with a January transfer.

Wednesday’s Italian papers claim that Inter will accept €10 million to offload the 28-year-old midfielder as the fee would help Inter turn the profit they need under Financial Fair Play.

However, Banega’s agent Marcelo Simoniain has denied that his client is going to leave Inter in the summer, telling calciomercato.com:

“He’s adapting to a new League and a different style of training than the one in Spain,” Marcelo Simonian told calciomercato.com.

“It’s just a matter of time and acclimatisation. Ever is a champion, wanted by the best Coaches in the world.

“Whoever has coached him has always been impressed by his performances, it just takes a little patience. I repeat, it’s only a matter of time.

“Everton? I don’t know, they haven’t spoken to me. He’s an Inter player and he will win with this shirt.”
