While the outcome of Jones’ career in Jacksonville remains uncertain, one thing is evident: he’s embracing a newfound openness. His relationship with Belichick deteriorated during the last season, resulting in Jones being benched multiple times.

Jones’ tenure with the Patriots concluded with an 18-24 record, 8,918 passing yards, 46 passing touchdowns, and 36 interceptions. Looking ahead to the 2024 season, regardless of who fills the quarterback position for New England, it’s expected to be a challenging journey. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Patriots are considered underdogs with odds of +1700 to win the AFC East.
