Let’s review the injury report for every game on the NFL’s Week 7 schedule. Remember, you can always stay updated on the latest injury buzz around the league with PFN’s NFL and Fantasy News Tracker.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

NFL Week 7 Injury Tracker

Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens

  • Lions: RB David Montgomery, OUT (ribs); RB Craig Reynolds, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring/toe); TE James Mitchell, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); G Jonah Jackson, OUT (ankle); EDGE Joshua Paschal, QUESTIONABLE (knee)
  • Ravens: CB Kevon Seymour, OUT (ankle); S Marcus Williams, OUT (hamstring)

Lions: Montgomery — who did not Practice this week — is expected to miss time with a rib injury. The Lions have a Week 10 bye and could theoretically hold their RB1 out until then.

Jahmyr Gibbs has missed the last two games but managed a full Friday practice and will return in Week 7. Head coach Dan Campbell said Gibbs — not listed on Detroit’s injury report — will be counted on to carry the “load” against the Ravens.

Reynolds, expected to play a larger role with Montgomery sidelined, couldn’t practice on Wednesday but returned for limited Thursday and Friday sessions. Detroit has Devine Ozigbo (elevated on Sunday) and Mohamed Ibrahim on its practice squad.

Besides Montgomery, Jackson has been the only other Lion out of practice this week. He will likely miss his second consecutive game, leaving Kayode Awosika to start at left guard.

On defense, Branch will return after missing the past two games with an ankle injury. The rookie phenom will reclaim his starting spot in the slot.

Ravens: Pass rusher Odafe Oweh is back on the practice field for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 2. With David Ojabo and Tyus Bowser sidelined, Baltimore needs its former first-round edge rusher back.

Williams, who missed time with a pectoral injury earlier this year, is now dealing with a hamstring problem. Head coach John Harbaugh called the veteran safety “week to week,” but Williams will not suit up against the Lions.

Las Vegas Raiders at Chicago Bears

  • Raiders: QB Jimmy Garoppolo, OUT (back); CB Nate Hobbs, OUT (ankle); CB Jakorian Bennett, OUT (shoulder/knee)
  • Bears: QB Justin Fields, OUT (right thumb); RB Roschon Johnson, OUT(concussion); OT Darnell Wright, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); G Nate Davis, OUT (ankle); G Dan Feeney, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Terell Smith, OUT (illness); S Eddie Jackson, OUT (foot); S Jaquan Brisker, QUESTIONABLE (groin)

Raiders: Garoppolo left Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots with a back injury and did not return. While head coach Josh McDaniels said Las Vegas “dodged a bullet,” Las Vegas has ruled Garoppolo for Week 7.

Veteran Brian Hoyer relieved Garoppolo when he went down in Week 6 and will start on Sunday, according to The Athletic. Fourth-round rookie Aidan O’Connell started in Week 4 when Garoppolo was sidelined with a concussion.

Hobbs, who hasn’t played since Week 3, will miss another game. Elsewhere in the secondary, Bennett was downgraded from limited on Thursday to DNP on Friday and will not play this week.

Bears: Fields, who cannot grip a football, was always considered doubtful for Week 7 and was officially ruled out on Friday. Former Division II quarterback Tyson Bagent will make his first NFL start after relieving Fields against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Fortunately, head coach Matt Eberflus said Friday that Fields is unlikely to undergo surgery on his thumb, adding the third-year quarterback is “trending in the right direction.”

Johnson is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. It was hard to imagine he wouldn’t get cleared after missing last week’s game, but he didn’t practice all week and will be sidelined for a second straight week.

Fellow RB Travis Homer returned to a full practice on Thursday and will rejoin Chicago’s backfield, likely serving as a passing-down specialist while D’Onta Foreman handles early downs.

The Bears are dealing with injury issues along their offensive line, too. Davis never practiced this week, while Wright was downgraded from limited on Wednesday to DNP on Thursday.

On defense, Chicago could be without both of its starting safeties. Jackson, who reaggravated an existing foot injury after returning in Week 6, has already been ruled out, while Brisker must have picked up an injury during practice and is now Questionable.

Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts

  • Browns: QB Deshaun Watson, QUESTIONABLE (right shoulder); RB Kareem Hunt, QUESTIONABLE (thigh); TE Harrison Bryant, QUESTIONABLE (hip); LB Sione Takitaki, OUT (hamstring); CB Greg Newsome, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
  • Colts: WR Alec Pierce, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); TE Kylen Granson, OUT (concussion); OT Braden Smith, OUT (hip)

Browns: Watson failed to practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to limited on Thursday. While Watson suggested earlier this week that he couldn’t “put a timeline” on his shoulder injury, he appears likely to play on Sunday.

Watson practiced again on Friday. Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com said Watson “looks like a go” for Week 7, noting the “good zip” the veteran quarterback put on his passes today. While the Browns are officially listing Watson as questionable, head coach Kevin Stefanski expects him to play.

Hunt missed Wednesday’s practice and was limited later in the week. If Hunt can’t suit up, Pierre Strong will serve as Cleveland’s RB2 behind Jerome Ford.

Colts: Team owner Jim Irsay confirmed Anthony Richardson will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the AC joint injury in his right shoulder. With Richardson headed toward injured reserve (IR), Gardner Minshew will be Indy’s QB1 for the remainder of the season.

Pierce seems likely to play after managing a full Friday practice. Meanwhile, Granson’s injury will give more snaps to fellow TEs Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree.

Smith was the only one of the Colts’ injured players to miss last week’s game — he won’t play against the Browns, so rookie Blake Freeland will make another start at right tackle.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots

  • Bills: TE Quintin Morris, OUT (ankle); DT Ed Oliver, OUT (toe); DB Cam Lewis, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)
  • Patriots: WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Demario Douglas, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Kayshon Boutte, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); TE Hunter Henry, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); OT Trent Brown, QUESTIONABLE (chest); OT Riley Reiff, OUT (knee); G Mike Onwenu, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); G Cole Strange, QUESTIONABLE (knee); C David Andrews, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); EDGE Josh Uche, OUT (knee/foot); EDGE Keion White, OUT (concussion); EDGE Trey Flowers, QUESTIONABLE (foot); DT Christian Barmore, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DT Davon Godchaux, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Jonathan Jones, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Jack Jones (hamstring); CB Shaun Wade (shoulder); S Kyle Dugger, QUESTIONABLE (foot); DB Cody Davis, QUESTIONABLE (knee)

BillsAfter getting his right shoulder checked out following Buffalo’s Week 6 win, Josh Allen was limited on Wednesday but returned to a full practice on Thursday. He’s in no danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

Morris and Oliver are the only injured Buffalo players who have failed to practice this week, and Sean McDermott ruled them out on Friday.

Running back Damien Harris, who had to be taken off the field in an ambulance in Week 6, was sent to IR on Friday.

Patriots: New England’s injury report has been lengthy every single week. The Patriots are listing a whopping 19 players ahead of Sunday’s AFC East matchup.

With Uche and White sidelined, and fellow pass rusher Matthew Judon already on injured reserve, New England could struggle to generate pressure against the Bills. Players like Anfernee Jennings and Marte Mapu could be asked to handle expanded roles.

Every Patriot listed as questionable managed a limited practice on Friday.

Washington Commanders at New York Giants

  • Commanders: No injuries of note
  • Giants: QB Daniel Jones, QUESTIONABLE (neck); OT Andrew Thomas, OUT (hamstring); OT Evan Neal, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); OT Matt Peart, OUT (shoulder); C John Michael Schmitz, OUT (shoulder); CB Adoree’ Jackson, QUESTIONABLE (neck)

CommandersWashington doesn’t have a single player on its injury report heading into Week 7. While players like DT Jonathan Allen and CB Kendall Fuller were listed earlier in the week, the Commanders are fully healthy as Sunday approaches.

Giants: New York is as banged up as any team in the NFL. Jones managed limited practices all week but was not cleared for contact as of Friday.

While it’s still unclear if Jones will be able to play against the Commanders after missing Week 6, he’s been designated as questionable, giving him a chance of suiting up. Tyrod Taylor will make a second consecutive start if Jones can’t go.

Whichever quarterback plays on Sunday will likely be dodging incoming pass rushers behind an injured offensive line. Thomas, Peart, and Schmitz have already been ruled out, while the Giants placed fellow linemen Joshua Ezeudu and Shane Lemieux on IR earlier this week.

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Falcons: No injuries of note
  • Buccaneers: EDGE Anthony Nelson, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); DT Vita Vea, QUESTIONABLE (foot)

Falcons: Atlanta hasn’t had a single player on its injury report for three consecutive weeks.

Buccaneers: Nelson should be able to play on Sunday after fully practicing all week. Veta sandwiched limited practices around a Thursday DNP. Greg Gaines will see more time on Tampa Bay’s interior defensive line if Vea can’t go.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams

  • Steelers: TE Pat Freiermuth, OUT (hamstring)
  • Rams: RB Kyren Williams, OUT (ankle); WR Ben Skowronek, QUESTIONABLE (Achilles); DT Larrell Murchison, OUT (knee); LB Ernest Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Derion Kendrick, QUESTIONABLE (legal)

Steelers: Freiermuth, who missed Week 6, was downgraded to limited on Thursday after posting a full Wednesday practice. On Friday, NFL Network reported that Freiermuth aggravated his existing hamstring injury during Thursday’s practice and will now be sidelined for Week 7.

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson and running back Anthony McFarland Jr. are on IR, but both are fully practicing and could return to game action as soon as Sunday.

Rams: Williams is now expected to be sidelined for multiple games and might not be able to return until after Los Angeles’ Week 10 bye. With RB2 Ronnie Rivers on IR, rookie sixth-rounder Zach Evans projects as L.A.’s starting back for the next several weeks.

The Rams also signed Royce Freeman and Myles Gaskin to their active roster and reunited with Darrell Henderson Jr. via a practice squad assignment. Sean McVay said his club will elevate Henderson to its active roster before Sunday’s game.

Kendrick was arrested Monday on suspicion of illegal gun possession and charged with two misdemeanors.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

  • Cardinals: QB Kyler Murray, OUT (knee); WR Zach Pascal, QUESTIONABLE (neck); G Elijah Wilkinson, OUT (neck); DT Kevin Strong, QUESTIONABLE (calf); LB Josh Woods, QUESTIONABLE (back); CB Antonio Hamilton, OUT (groin); CB Kei’Trel Clark, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); CB Garrett Williams, QUESTIONABLE (knee); S Budda Baker, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); S Jalen Thompson, OUT (hamstring)
  • Seahawks: RB Zach Charbonnet, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); WR DK Metcalf, QUESTIONABLE (ribs/hip); OT Jake Curhan, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); G Phil Haynes, QUESTIONABLE (calf); C Evan Brown, QUESTIONABLE (hip)

Cardinals: Murray practiced Wednesday for the first time since tearing his ACL in December. He’s not a realistic candidate to play this Sunday, but Arizona will have to activate him within the next three weeks.

The Cards also designated Baker to return from IR on Wednesday. He’s been sidelined by a hamstring issue since Week 1.

With Wilkinson sidelined, Arizona will feature a different starting offensive line for the first time this season. Dennis Daley will likely start at left guard.

Seahawks: Charbonnet played his typical RB2 role behind Kenneth Walker III in Seattle’s Week 6 loss to the Bengals, but he must have picked up a hamstring injury at some point. He couldn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday — if Charbonnet can’t play on Sunday, DeeJay Dallas will mix in behind Walker.

Metcalf has been battling a rib injury for weeks, but he’s continued to play through it. Still, Pete Carroll said today that Metcalf is “very sore” and didn’t seem confident that his star wideout will play in Week 7.

The Seahawks’ offensive line remains banged up. Curhan, Haynes, and Brown are all questionable, but at least left tackle Charles Cross and left guard Damien Lewis were removed from the club’s injury report.

Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos

  • Packers: RB Aaron Jones, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); OT Yosh Nijman, QUESTIONABLE (knee); G Elgton Jenkins, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DT Devonte Wyatt, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB De’Vondre Campbell, DOUBTFUL (ankle); LB Quay Walker, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Jaire Alexander, QUESTIONABLE (back); CB Eric Stokes, QUESTIONABLE (foot); S Darnell Savage, QUESTIONABLE (calf); S Zayne Anderson, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
  • Broncos: TE Greg Dulcich, OUT (hamstring)

Packers: Campbell is the only Green Bay player who didn’t practice this week.

Jones missed Weeks 2 and 3 with a hamstring injury, then came back in Week 4 before reaggravating the issue. He sat out of Week 5, but the Packers’ bye week and Jones’ limited participation in practice give him an excellent shot to play on Sunday.

MORE: NFL Week 7 Predictions

Stokes is still on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list but could be activated before Week 7. The former first-round corner was not expected to be a starter when he returns, but Alexander’s injury could create an opening for Stokes if he plays.

Broncos: Dulcich’s hamstring injury cost him four games earlier this season, and he re-injured himself when he returned to the field in Week 6. The second-year tight end may end up going back on IR — 9News’ Mike Klis said it would be a surprise if Dulcich isn’t sent back to injured reserve.

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

  • Chargers: WR Jalen Guyton, OUT (knee); DT Otito Ogbonnia, OUT (knee); LB Amen Ogbongbemiga, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); CB Deane Leonard, OUT (hamstring); S Derwin James, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); S Alohi Gilman, OUT (heel)
  • Chiefs: WR Justin Watson, OUT (elbow); CB Jaylen Watson, QUESTIONABLE (thigh)

Chargers: Running back Austin Ekeler is no longer listed on Los Angeles’ injury report, while quarterback Justin Herbert (finger) fully participated in Wednesday’s walkthrough. Both players suited up in Week 6 and shouldn’t have any issues moving forward.

The Chargers added James to their injury report on Thursday, listing him as limited. He failed to practice on Friday.

Gilman was upgraded to limited this week but has since been ruled out for Sunday’s game. With fellow safety Raheem Layne on IR, L.A. claimed Jaylinn Hawkins off waivers from the Falcons this week.

Guyton and Ogbonnia are on the PUP list, but the Chargers designated them for return on Thursday.

Chiefs: Justin Watson has a dislocated elbow but will not be placed on IR. He was the only Kansas City player who had failed to practice this week until Friday, when Jaylen Watson popped up on the injury report with a thigh issue.

Miami Dolphins at Philadelphia Eagles (SNF)

  • Dolphins: FB Alec Ingold, QUESTIONABLE (foot); C Connor Williams, QUESTIONABLE (groin); CB Xavien Howard, QUESTIONABLE (groin); CB Jalen Ramsey, OUT (knee); CB Nik Needham, QUESTIONABLE (Achilles)
  • Eagles: CB Bradley Roby, OUT (shoulder); S Reed Blankenship, OUT (ribs)

Dolphins: Ramsey was expected to be sidelined until December after undergoing an August meniscus repair, but he was back at practice on Wednesday. Miami now has a three-week window to activate Ramsey to its active roster.

While the Dolphins could hold Ramsey out through their Week 10 bye, head coach Mike McDaniel said “there’s a chance” the All-Pro CB could suit up before then. However, McDaniel will not play on Sunday.

Elsewhere in Miami’s secondary, Howard left Sunday’s game with a groin injury and did not return. He didn’t practice on Wednesday but returned for limited late-week sessions and said he plans to play against the Eagles.

On offense, Williams is also day to day after missing Week 6 with a groin issue. Meanwhile, running back Jeff Wilson Jr. is still on IR but fully practicing, suggesting he’ll be activated for Sunday night’s contest.

Eagles: While WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring), TE Dallas Goedert (groin), OT Lane Johnson (ankle), and DT Jalen Carter (ankle) were listed on Philadelphia’s injury report earlier in the week, they’ve since been removed and won’t carry an injury designation into Sunday night’s game.

Roby and Blankenship were also injured against New York, and both will miss Week 7 after failing to practice all week. Already down Justin Evans in the secondary, Philadelphia might struggle to stop Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on Sunday night.

San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings (MNF)

  • 49ers: RB Christian McCaffrey (oblique/rib); WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder); OT Trent Williams (ankle); G Aaron Banks (ankle); LB Dre Greenlaw (hamstring); CB Isaiah Oliver (knee)
  • Vikings: WR Jalen Nailor (hamstring); G Ezra Cleveland (foot); EDGE Patrick Jones II (shoulder); CB Akayleb Evans (oblique)

49ersNone of McCaffrey, Samuel, Williams, or Greenlaw practiced on Thursday, but head coach Kyle Shanahan labeled them all day to day.

CMC, Samuel, and Williams were still out of practice on Friday. McCaffrey was working on the side of the practice field, while Samuel lifted weights inside San Francisco’s facility. Greenlaw returned today for a limited Friday practice.

Shanahan specifically noted that CMC’s MRI on his oblique was “encouraging.” If he can’t play against the Vikings on Monday night, Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason would likely handle most of the backfield work.

Vikings: Cleveland was the only injured Viking who couldn’t practice on Thursday or Friday. If he fails to suit up in Week 7, Minnesota’s starting left guard would likely be replaced by recent free agent addition Dalton Risner.

The Vikings will be without edge rusher Marcus Davenport (high ankle sprain), who will miss at least four games after being placed on IR this week. Minnesota used his vacant roster spot to bring running back/returner Kene Nwangwu back from the injured list.
