Despite their early exit from the playoffs at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, the season was considered a success, with Kings head coach Mike Brown earning the Coach of the Year honors.
As the Kings prepare for the upcoming season, Brown is setting the bar high, making it clear that their goal is nothing less than winning an NBA championship.
In an interview with Marc J. Spears of Andscape, Brown emphasized the team’s lofty expectations, telling his players, “We’re competing for a championship. It’s as simple as that.”
