The LaLiga club that wants to remove Vedat Muriqi from Mallorca

Sevilla FC are looking to the future and have set their interest on Mallorca’s star striker, Vedat Muriqi, as a possible signing for next season. Although the Kosovar player’s contract extends until 2027, the Andalusian club is seriously considering the possibility of making use of his release clause, which amounts to 30 million euros, according to Todo Fichajes.

The team led by José Luis Mendilibar is planning ahead for the next campaign, and the possibility of selling some of its current forwards has led Sevilla to see Muriqi as a strategic reinforcement to strengthen its attack line. The Mallorca striker has demonstrated his scoring ability, registering 16 goals last season and already adding four goals in eight games in the current campaign.

At 29 years of age, Muriqi is close to ending his contract with Mallorca in the summer of 2027. Although he is currently happy at Son Moix, Sevilla’s appeal as an elite club could play a crucial role in his decision.

Mallorca, aware of Sevilla’s interest, could take measures to protect their most influential player and explore options to ensure his permanence in the team. The possibility of a contract extension or a salary increase could be on the table to retain Muriqi in the Vermilion ranks.

The story of this possible transfer will continue to develop in the coming months, and the relationship between both clubs will be fundamental in the negotiation. Sevilla is looking to reinforce its squad with a prolific forward like Muriqi, while Mallorca will try to keep its star in its ranks to continue competing in La Liga. The transfer market will witness how this interesting plot develops.
