Wilson has emerged as a standout performer on the Jets’ offense despite his off-field antics. Wilson won the Offensive Player of the Year award in 2022 and achieved his second consecutive 1,000-yard season in 2023, bolstering the team’s confidence.
Wilson’s outstanding play played a significant role in the Jets’ decision to acquire Aaron Rodgers in the 2023 offseason. Despite Wilson’s lackluster results last season, expectations remain high for his continued success, especially when Rodgers returns to full health.
