Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been going viral lately with his comments about the Las Vegas Raiders. Even though the Raiders have climbed back to a 3-3 record (after starting 1-3), Adams has been vocal about how unhappy he is with his lack of production.
During Las Vegas’ Week 3 loss to Pittsburgh, Adams had 20 targets, however, in the three games since he has had 13, four, and five respectively. His last two games have seen him catch just six passes for 74 total yards. Trade rumors have been swirling and one former NFL wide receiver wants to see him back in the NFC.

On Thursday, Bryant sent Adams his best recruiting pitch to link up with the Dallas Cowboys. One word was all Bryant needed to convey his message:

During his second season with the Raiders, Adams has hauled in 39 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns.
“I’m a human being and I have extremely high standards for myself in this offense,” Adams said Wednesday. I’m sure people are thinking, ‘They won the game, why is there an issue?’ I mean, you see why it’s an issue. Y’all should know who I am, know what I’m about at this point … when you’re a player like me, mentally, my benchmark is not wins and losses — it’s greatness.
Following an eight-year stint with the Green Bay Packers, Adams signed a five-year, $141.25 million deal with the Raiders in 2022. With four 1,000+ yard seasons, six Pro Bowl selections, and three first-team All-Pro selections to his name, he does have the expectation of receiving touches, but he also draws the attention of defenses.
“I mean, I’m not naive,” Adams said. “At the end of the day, it’s not easy throwing to somebody who gets the coverages that I get. It’s a lot of attention, a lot more than, what I’m sure Jimmy [Garoppolo], Derek [Carr], [Brian] Hoyer, whoever we got out there, Aidan [O’Connell], it’s a lot more complex picture that they’re looking at than the numbers that we’re studying throughout the week.”
