BREAKING: New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr Leaves Green Bay Packers Game With Painful Injury

Fox television cameras caught Derek Carr on the ground, appearing to be in visible pain during a New Orleans Saints third-quarter drive. The Saints were comfortably ahead 17-0 in the second half of an injury-plagued Green Bay Packers home opener in Week 3.

New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr was in serious pain

Packers linebacker Rashan Gary took Carr to the ground. And Carr struggled to get up.

Carr is questionable to return against the Green Bay Packers

Per the Fox telecast, Carr suffered a shoulder injury and was taken into the locker room for an X-ray. The Saints ruled Carr questionable to return against the Packers.

Backup quarterback Jameis Winston came in to relieve Carr after the injury. The Saints will rely on Winston and Taysom Hill to try and close out a win in Week 3.
