The NL Central Standings have been tightly contested all season long. Currently the Milwaukee Brewers (65-54) have the largest lead of the year at 3.5 games, but the Chicago Cubs (61-57) and Cincinnati Reds (62-58) are within striking distance of both the division as well as Wild Card.
With approximately 40-45 games to go in the regular season each team’s remaining strength of schedule may play a factor as to how the NL Central and Wild Card standings shake out. Let’s take a look at how each team will finish out the season.

In regards to games against below .500 teams the Cubs have the most remaining, the Reds second, and the Brewers last. The Cubs and Brewers also will square off six more times and the Reds and Cubs four more times. This should make for an exciting finish to the season.
