We are looking for a Senior Fitness Instructor to join our team! We are looking for someone who has a real passion for fitness along with the relevant qualifications. As a Senior Fitness Instructor, you will be working closely with the Fitness Manager supporting with all Fitness operations, this will include instructing fitness sessions at various levels of ability on both a group and individual basis. You will also need to inspire people to train, to tailor the workouts to the individual making them fun and effective, ensuring that they use the equipment both effectively and safely.

Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Sunday - Rota basis

Requirements

To support the Fitness Manager to ensure provision of the fitness facilities, operating within required standards of quality and customer service. To support the Fitness and Membership Managers to generate membership sales and increase membership retention in the gym within Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex. To support the Fitness Manager to measure and report on user retention within the fitness facilities. To develop and deliver initiatives in the marketing strategy and marketing plan and plan objectives for the fitness facility. To assist the Fitness Manager and Studio Co-ordinator to develop the group exercise and group courses timetable. To work with Spectrum teams, corporate teams and also external partners such as Primary care trust and Local Strategic Partnership to provide healthy living and provide support programmes accordingly including GP and Cardiac Referral programmes. Responsible for assisting in the management of the group exercise and courses timetable to meet customer and centre expectations. Assisting in the management, measurement and monitoring of the Traffic Light System and timetable changes. To assist the Fitness Manager in new staff recruitment, training and inductions.
