Description
Under the direction of the Fitness Director, the Personal Trainer is responsible for developing safe, structured and motivational personal training programs designed to meet members' individual fitness goals and needs. In addition, the Personal Trainer is highly encouraged to work a minimum of 1 health and Wellness Center floor shift (average 4 hours/week) on a weekly basis. The Personal Trainer is also responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the fitness equipment and floor areas.
Requirements
Hours per Week: Part-Time
Qualifications:
Required certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED, national certification (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM) in personal training.
1. Certification in Personal Training (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA)
2. Bachelors Degree Preferred in fitness/wellness related field.
3. At least one year of experience in the health and wellness industry.
