Athletic Trainer at PT Solutions Physical Therapy

OVERVIEW

As an essential member of the sports medicine team, you'll oversee the athlete's prevention, care, and rehabilitation during practice and competition.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Orthopedic assessments and documentation
  • Counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
  • Coordinated stakeholder communication, e.g., MD, PT, PSC, etc.
  • Field and venue setup

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Work effectively with local physical therapy and physician teams to ensure an athlete's safe return to sports
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Connect with athletes and parents respectfully and positively
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with school athletic directors, physicians, PT Solutions clinicians, and more

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, Master's Degree preferred
  • State licensure
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Exceptional communication and coachability preferred
  • BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC
