About the Role

The successful applicant will be part of a growing Allied Health department with an extensive multi-disciplinary team. This opportunity will suit new graduates, early career or experienced Exercise Physiologist wanting rural experience. The role is supported by a Grade 1, Grade 2 and a 3 Exercise Physiologists and offers on site clinical supervision.

We are offering an exciting and varied position for a suitably qualified Grade 1 Exercise Physiologist. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic department made up of an existing Grade 1, 2 and 3 Exercise Physiology team and over twenty other Allied Health professionals.

We can offer you a varied workload that could include:

  • Outpatient Exercise Physiology – musculoskeletal, cardio metabolic, neurological, oncology and other clinical populations
  • Subacute- Transitional Care Program
  • Exercise Physiology Groups including our over gym groups, over 65’s gym group, Hydrotherapy and Oncology Rehabilitation Programs
  • The opportunity for facilitating multi-disciplinary programs such as Better Balance and cardiac rehabilitation
  • The opportunity to develop areas of special interest and work closely with other Allied Health disciplines including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Diabetes Education and more

Skills and Experience

  • Model excellent professional behaviour, communication and team collaboration skill
  • Demonstrate self-reflective practice and a willingness to learn and grow

  • Have an ability to balance a clinical case load with other non-clinical tasks
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
