Galatasaray fans were spotted dotted around Old Trafford as they celebrated a famous win against Manchester United.

In a jaw-dropping match for several reasons, the Turkish side managed a 3-2 victory over the Red Devils with a late winner from Mauro Icardi.

And at full-time as the home fans vacated the premises, there was no way the travelling supporters were going anywhere anytime soon.

The Galatasaray Fans are renowned for being some of the loudest in Europe and they did not disappoint.

But what might worry United officials is how easy the visiting support found themselves inside the home section of the ground.

While the away end was completely full, there were also groups of Galatasaray fans gathered around Old Trafford.

United fans were not happy to see their stadium infiltrated in such a way, with one writing: “Absolute shambles of a club.”

Another wrote: “Felt like an away game.”

And a third put: “Owners who clearly couldn’t care less about the club fans. Simple really.”

Those who made the trip from Turkey to Manchester were not disappointed as they witnessed a Champions League classic.

United took the lead through Rasmus Hojlund, who headed home Marcus Rashford’s cross.

But moments later, some woeful defending from Diogo Dalot and Andre Onana allowed Wilfried Zaha to bully his way toward goal and net an equaliser.

Hojlund got his second of the night on the break when Davinson Sanchez slipped and the Dane raced through on goal.

But once again, the £72million man was not celebrating long as another piece of bad defending allowed Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu to score an equaliser.

However, the nightmare at the back did not stop as Onana tried to play out from the back only to give the ball straight to Dries Mertens.

Casemiro ended up sliding through the back of the Belgian and conceding a penalty, getting sent off as well, but Icardi dashed his penalty wide.

But the Argentine made up for his error when he chipped Onana, who appeared to already sit down as the ball was shot.

It saw Gala claim their first win on British soil while United are rock bottom of their Champions League group after two defeats in two.
